It would be hard to find anyone whod argue the War on Drugs has not been lost.
Never mind having the government grow and tax MJ. Just have the government expand the right to grow it without retribution. The second the crooked government gets involved they will tax it to death,no one will be able to afford it. It will be treated like booze and cigs as a poor mans vice and we all know whom pays the most taxes in this capitalistic system.
Marijuana is better than liquer..you dont get hang overs from it and it does not hurt the liver and other parts of the body.It is short term relaxation..I myself have never taken drugs or smoked..but i have seen it cuz my son and daughters do that stuff..There fore i think if it is for sale ..it should be taxed as liquer..the Netherlands does the same..It is legal there and it does not cause any problems ...so why should it cause it in Canada ?..It is considerd a regreational thing.
